The group critique was a good tool for talking over current ideas that I'm working through. It was a cold reading and I asked them touch the objects. The cold reading didn't really help coz it's not the art that I want to make or present. Letting them touch the objects was interesting, they're artists and so they were hesitant to touch and play with the objects and they do it respectfully. There were conversations of "what if's" with context of possible next moves with the work.


What if the sculptures were the real thing?

What if the sculptures were a bit more polished and less kitchy?

What if I start testing out the install options?


I was reading more of Dr. Mahina's work and he has laid out The Tongan creation story which is going to help with creating further.
